• The Akira Beauty website has generated a few million mark within the 1st year in the market. By the beginning of the second year, Akira Beauty had increased new users by 423% and mobile revenue by 272%.

• I was responsible for spearheading the strategic and tactical technology solutions for the eCommerce Business to accomplish the business goals.

• I was responsible for the eCommerce architecture, base code foundation, API integrations and warehouse synchronization from the very beginning of the development phase.

• I've created the Akira Beauty Core back-end services from scratch, improving automation for sales reporting, analytics, backend data syncing for inventory, shipping and tracking, and reducing manual time in resolving discrepancy data syncing and underselling/overselling issues.

• The backend service was built with the latest tech trends (React/Next.js/Node) and proprietary database (MongoDB).

• Akira Beauty Core also provides new add-ons:

- Data visualization for products, inventory, synchronization between API's, user feedback, and tracking system for custom campaigns connected to Shopify;-

- Custom Order API integration to satisfy the finance department;

- Automation for generating coupon codes and delivery trackable emails on the fly;

- Dynamic Customer Log and Orders log.

In addition to the technical points mentioned above, I was in charge of providing functional/technical direction and management for the analysis, design, development, integration, testing and ongoing support of the customer driven solutions.

• Set the vision, roadmaps, strategies, processes, development plans and best practices to lead/achieve business goals and to increase overall business performance on the web, mobile , email, social and other platforms.

• Actively driving process changes and implementing programs that will improve customer experience and productivity.

• Responsible for hiring, training and managing the technology team.

• I’m currently in charge of website migration from Shopify to Magento Commerce / Headless solution (PWA Studio).
